Study shows how cocaine rewires the brain

A new study conducted by UC San Francisco’s Ernest Gallo Clinic and Research Center revealed that cocaine may rewire the brain and drastically affect decision-making after just one use.

Previous research has shown that cocaine can kill the brain cells and may be  lethal to key cells in the brain’s ‘pleasure center’.   Studies have also proven that long-term use of cocaine can trigger cardiovascular deaths, heart attacks and life-threatening heart rhythm abnormalities.
