Kerri Magee, LMSW, is a social worker and practicing psychotherapist who has been providing individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and mediation services over the last 15 years. She is experienced in working with individuals and families on issues ranging from life stage transitions, conflict resolution, anxiety, depression, and neurodivergence.
Kerri believes that therapy is a sacred space that can be a conduit for transformation and healing. Through bravery and commitment, the therapeutic partnership is a place to explore, challenge, and strengthen our internalized narratives about self, our relationships, and the world around us. When we are safe enough and brave enough to look at all of our different parts, we can begin to expand, grow, and create something new and transformative. Kerri’s approach is holistic, empathic, and nonjudgmental. She values humor, honesty, authenticity, love and trust. She can hold complicated and heavy feelings while remaining hopeful about our infinite capacity for change and growth.
Kerri received her BA from Boston College and completed her MSW at Hunter College Silberman School for Social Work. She is an experienced Circle Keeper and Reiki practitioner.
